Travel plays an integral role in the success of American businesses in every industry. NBTA members contribute heavily to that success, directing more than $170 billion in travel and entertainment expenses each year. Laws and policies that affect NBTA members and their companies' travelers have a real impact on American businesses and the economy. The North Central BTA chapter is a local forum for education, networking and exchange of ideas which foster better understanding and the development of professional travel management practices.

U.S. Senate Leaders to Revive Stalled FAA Reauthorization Bill U.S. Senate leaders said they would bring up the long-stalled FAA Reauthorization Bill next month. The House of Representatives passed its version of the bill last year. The bill would mandate background checks for pilots, offer protections for passengers stranded on tarmacs, and modernize the air traffic control system.
NBTA supports the passage of the Senate bill and inclusion of funds for upgrading the air traffic control system. Contact your Senators and Representatives and tell them to pass the FAA Reauthorization bill. Take Action Now!
