Education
As an affiliate of the National Business Travel Association, NCBTA supports and recognizes the professional education programs they offer. Currently, education is focused in these concentrated areas:
The CCTE Program is designed for business travel management professionals who want to enhance their knowledge, skills and productivity.
The Global Leadership Professional (GLP) program is a master's level executive education program developed by the NBTA Foundation in conjunction with The Wharton School. It is the only master's level accredited course offered within the business travel industry, and is designed to build upon NBTA's Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE) program.
Attendees who successfully complete the Fundamentals of Business Travel Management course, either as a two-day workshop or online, will be eligible to earn the Corporate Travel ExpertSM (CTE) designation by passing the CTE exam online. Carrying the CTE designation following your name shows that you have mastered the fundamental tenets of corporate travel management.
NetSmart(tm) is a web-based distance learning and educational program that allows NBTA Direct Members and Chapter Direct Members to participate in a live interactive forum on business travel industry issues and simultaneously view presentations.
The NBTA Global Travel Management Exchange Forums (GTMEF) are small, highly focused, discussion groups. The GTMEF's provide global travel managers with the opportunity to meet with their peers and explore, in-depth, the global travel management topics and issues that are most important to them
